Default Gremlins

I'm hoping some of you other guys may have had this or know whats going on, all of these are annoyances and nothing major.

I have a 2016 XLT 302A with the 2.7 with some strange happening going on.

First is the sync pandora controls, they randomly just wont work anymore, if I cycle through the input sources using the "M" button on the steering wheel it will work again but in a dumb down version with no thumbs up or thumbs down option.

Second is the Auto start and stop, I personally can't stand it and usually turn it off until one day I forgot and sitting at a red light I noticed the "A" with the line through it to indicate its off. At the time I figured the vehicle finally learned that I don't use it and just kept it turned off. But then after about a week it resumed to normal operation and I'm back to hitting the button.

Third no matter what I do when I start the vehicle in the morning the center display comes up on the trailer set up page, I currently have about 1098 miles on an unsetup trailer lol.

Lastly this morning I stop fuel up and set my center display back from the trailer setup to the real time fuel economy readout and all of a sudden now it shows what gear I'm in on the right side of the screen, I like it but where the f**k did that come from.

So please my Ford loving brothers what the heck is going on lol

Well, congrats on the truck! I can't help with all the little gremlins you're experiencing but here's a recent thread that might help with the trailer tow screen.

Good luck!

The gears show because you hit the + switch on the shifter. You can use this to lock out gears.

In drive once you turn it on, you can hit the - button and you will see the top gear disappear and so on as you keep hitting the - button.

That just meant one of the factors that disables Auto S/S was active, e.g. battery needed to charge, engine wasn't up to temp, A/C needed to be active to keep cab comfortable, etc.

Also the seat belt has something to do with the auto start stop.
