Default Got some hail at work today...

So this happened at work today. I am 33 and lived in Texas my whole life. I have been through a lot of hail storms and what I saw today was the longest duration of hail as well as some of the largest hail I have seen - albeit some of the largest pieces were only about an inch in diameter. I was pissed and worried my truck would be toast but it survived unscathed. I now have more faith in the aluminum body.

Wow! Glad you did not get alot of damage. I was wondering how bad it would be when hailed on. Sometimes you just can find shelter when it happens

I hate hail. The day I bought my 2011 F150 we had a hail storm and my 2010 I traded in was destroyed. I was barely able to get my new truck in the garage. Two years later another storm and almost 30K worth of damage to my house. I had hail like this though

The very first week I had my new truck we had a hail storm come through. My truck won't fit my garage at home so I drove back to work (I build houses) and put my truck in one of my houses that has a double-deep bay. That house is now finished and occupied so I couldn't do it this time.

Got about $10,000 in hail damage on my truck shortly after lifting it! Luckily it was easily repaired via paintless dent removal thanks to some suggestions from the local guys on here and the truck is back to 100%

I live in Midlothian and work in Irving. I got off work this morning at 0730 and hauled butt on the way home because they were saying it was just moving from Ft. Worth to Arlington with up to golf ball sized hail. Made it home unscathed. Saw a few friends on Facebook that posted pics of holes in their windshields. Apparently it was pretty bad.

I saw y'all had bad weather. It may be here tomorrow. My truck is excluded from the garage because of old cars that have 1/3 of the value...

Last bad hail storm here in Kansas, I got 2K in damage and a subsequent check from insurance. Local shop removed all dents via paintless for $300 with a receipt the truck was 100% repaired......
