Default Why are 2021s $5k+ than 2020s?

I'm wanting a 2021 but I'm seeing $5k more used prices compared to a 2020 Wheres a 2018 vs 19 vs 20 are maybe all 1k difference. I get some new tech was introduced but wow, is this new model that much better?

It's only worth it if you want to pay it.

better? Thats for you to decide. Not uncommon in what you're seeing as more recent models carry a higher premium.
The improvements in the powertrains in the '21+ would sway me that way - ecoboost (cam phasers/timing) 5.0L (oil consumption)

Sounds like propaganda to me!!

Nothing at all wrong with the 2018-2020 year trucks.
In fact in my opinion they are superior to the 2021+ trucks.

If I was looking for a newer than my 2018 I would be buying this low mileage unit. https://www.jerryscars.com/VehicleDe...-SD/5744771100

this is what i would agree with. Ford has come a long way power train wise and tech wise between the 15-20 and 21-current

2020's and maybe some later 2019's wouldnt have cam phaser issues as they starting installing them from the factory.

I would def look hard at any 2017, 2018 or 2019's and make sure they already had the cam phasers done. I passed on a 2019 Raptor because it was an early build and had zero dealer history of any phaser work being done. So I think it was probably still on the factory faulty phasers and would have been a problem at some point.
