Detailed. Actually, I got more, because they offered be MORE for my trade where I could qualify for Ford Financing, so the total discounts exceeded $9000. Dealer discount of $3421 was pretty hefty as well.

It still surprises me a little that you can get a truck that looks like ours (with the big screen, center console and 20" KR wheels for around 28 or 29K. Since I don't need 4wd, this truck seemed custom made for me (although you can of course get it in 4wd too).

I have always been a GM truck guy, but I couldn't resist the pricing. Then I drove it and I knew what my next truck was going to be. A similarly equipped Chevy when I compared best deal to best deal was almost 3,000 more.

Yeah, I think so. Those two terms do seem to consistently describe the Ford incentive money. Maybe so on the regional thing and an STX discount. The only other time I saw it was on a dealer website (they were in Houston).

Exclamation

Who the crap would buy an XLT and spend MORE with less overall features?

the XLT's here don't even have the bigger touchscreen, nor the 20 inch wheels.

Its an attractive package with a good discount.

you just gotta watch out for Chevy Truck Month. I've seen discounts as high as 11,000...... Interesting that you have to go up to a pretty high trim level to get the console in a Silverado.....and heck, the XLT's here don't even have them.
