That's the latest greatest one from Ford. I'm in so many of these threads, I forget which is which, I might have posted this here, don't remember.

Everything's been all good hear since I cut the zip ties and wrapped my exhaust. Other then the click noise which i've learned to live with for now. Truck finally feels like its breaking in.

Cool, you found something not many would have. Should be getting that TCCM any day now eh.

And yes I imagine that will be soon. Need to find out if this involves any type of PCM Flash....if so I am going to be charged for new tunes if I have to send them a new strategy code

I wouldn't think they would need to flash the PCM. I would imagine the TCCM would need to be flashed before they install it. Seems like most modules have to be programmed anymore.

Well my issue still comes and goes. Truck is awesome to drive when things are fine for one drive, a day or two, and even a whole week before! I’ve tried all kinds of things and if I have time to aimlessly drive around then I find I can usually get it back to normal during the drive without getting out but I still can’t be certain what exactly worked because there was either more variables involved or it won’t work the next time so it takes some time to do.
The engine, transmission, and each respective pedal acts completely different. It’s louder, the shifts are painfully erratic in the lower gears as the truck feels like it’s struggling for power while throwing me around in my seat a bit, and the throttle response is night and day behind what it is when it gets back right. I called it brake drag before but the longer I’ve driven it and the fact I can experience both normal and wrong during the same drive, I can now tell the pedal positions are not giving the same input when it’s going on. The gas pedal must travel further and it response is well behind my foot. Also when trying to go faster in the higher gears the truck shudders a bit before it finally downshifts. You have to push the pedal much further to get anything going to sum it up. Brake pedal not positive on position change but brakes in general are very odd feeling before I get to a complete stop as if I can feel different wheels coming to a stop a different times. Not sure how else to describe it...rumble strips?
I’m going to look back on this as the time in my life where I learned most of any knowledge I have on motor vehicles is all I can say.

Interesting to note in the picture below from today. While trying to take a new angle on figuring this out I went into the air filter box for the first time and lifted up the filter. Now we can add this to the PCV Valve being disconnected from the Factory.

Zack, likely goes without saying, but are you still running your tunes?
