Sometimes that happens. The checkvalve is just the easiest cheapest thing in the system, the solenoid right after. In many cases, that will fix it. Just a first step.

FYI: Not sure that this helps anyone, but I had my buddy with a 2016 Platinum check his results on the power distribution screen. Exact same as mine. I may need to attach a gopro on his truck and see if the half shaft turns all the time as well. Will need to wait for some sunnier/drier/warmer weather.

My power distribution screen did not show engagement, but they clearly were engaged. It had a substantial impact on my fuel mileage too. I am seeing about 1/2-3/4 mpg average increase after the IWEs were replaced. If you suspect an IWE issue, I recommend driving for about 5 miles in 2H, return home, leave the engine running, jack up the front and support both sides on jack stands and see if the axle shaft spins when you turn the tire by hand. You can grab the shaft with your hand determine if the shaft can be stopped while the wheel turns.

I thought the power distribution screen only showed power to the front wheels only if TC was locked in. Is this not correct?
I don't remember there being any sensors on axles to show movement.

Ok so for the last week and a half my clicking noise was gone completely. For the last week and a half it’s been in the 70s and hardly in the upper 50s at night.
This morning on the way to work it was 40 degrees and the noise was back. It seems I’ve finally caught a pattern being the ambient temperature outside.

I won’t know for sure until it’s warm again but if it goes silent again when temps creep back up I will be able to live with the noise since we have mild winters and it will be over in another month/month and half here. I’ve been really enjoying my truck this past week! I have a sct bdx tuner arriving Monday with 4 tunes coming from Five Star.

Interesting. So it appears temp related. Just a WAG, AC compressor switch cycling? Just threw that out there, really haven't a clue.

All that stuffed has been turned off during the noise so not sure if it can be that. I've even tested it this last week by turning the auto temp all the way down and up and it made no difference, the noise never came back. Not until it sat overnight in the 35 degree temps. It started out suttle and got worse on my drive just like it used to. The truck temp seems to have nothing to do with it, only the outside temp.

I am not certain what causes the power distribution screen to show power. If I shift to 4A, it shows distribution to the front wheels when I apply the gas regardless of road conditions (dry, wet or snow). In snow, it shows the same amount of power to both wheels even when one tire is slipping.

This is probably because in 4a you have engaged that Wet Multiplate clutch which is now squeezing on the drive chain and essentially linking your axles together but not locking them. So you probably do correctly have drive to the front tires during acceleration but since you are not locked you can still have the front wheels turn at different speeds thus safe for drive pavement.

But again, IMO im pretty sure that screen is more of a gimmick than an actual concrete accurate demonstration of drive to the wheels.

I have given up for a while on my hub noise. I have installed the factory ford solenoid and the new blue check valve assembly with the connectors and tubing. I am also running a redundant check valve as suggested by other contributors on this thread. I am waiting on replacing the iwe at this time. I can buy dormans for about 65.00 and the only other option that I have found is the factory ford oem at about 175.00 each which are probably dormans. Since I live in the Salt lake city, ut area and it has been very cold lately, I am holding off on fixing it. My truck is a platinum and the screen doesn't show torque being applied to the front wheels when the hubs are trying to engage on their own.
