I am debating on getting a front bug deflector and side window deflectors for my 17 XLT Screw. Not sure which ones to get. Obviously smoked or black. Preferably something easy to install but reliable and not a total piece of garbage.

Opinions?

Just do the window deflectors. Bug deflectors look like ****.

 

If I had a hood deflector I wouldn't have a rock chip on the leading edge of the hood. I should receive a Stampede 2153-2 today.

 

Get the smoke window deflectors. Non-transparent deflectors can make the A-pillar blind spots dangerously large.

 

When you get it please let us know if it mounts with 5 holes under the hood or if it uses 2 slide on clips at the end.

 

And I'm the opposite. Hate the window defectors. To each his own, I guess.

 

Window deflector works great if you need to crack the window while raining. If you don't smoke or need to keep your window cracked while raining, I don't see a purpose in it. Bug deflector might helps a little but not much. I had bug and window deflectors 2 trucks ago. I didn't bother with the last truck cuz I don't think they're worth it since I quit smoking 10 yrs ago.
