Default Front Door

Just took delivery of a '15 Platinum an the front drivers door sticks out about 3/8 of an inch below the window, is flush in the middle and sticks out about a 1/4 inch at the bottom. Looked at another one on the lot and it was the same. Any one else have this problem? They did adjust and it helped a little.

Took delivery of my Lariat Supercab today. I noticed the bottom of the driver side door was sticking out about 1/2" from the rocker panel. I mentioned to my salesperson on Monday and he said we'll take care of it when you pick it up. Long story short; the delivery person started giving me a song and dance about having to leave the truck, putting me in a loaner, blah, blah. I insisted we take it to the body shop to let them look at it. 10 minutes later it was fixed. Two take aways from this: 1) Don't let them BS you, it's an easy fix; 2) Don't "F" with a grumpy old retired Marine Officer

The door in the 2015 covers the rocker and adjusting the doors can be easy or it can be very difficult. Some examples posted here have the door out on top, flush in the center and out on the bottom. An adjustment will not solve that. Correcting fit would require bending the door or door replacement.

Basically, bs on your story.

To each his own. All I know is the when the truck came back the door misalignment was fixed.

Mine was easily fixed with an adjustment too and they were all screwed up. No door bending necessary. So I don't know why you think it's "bs" when you didn't even look at it.

those of you that have gotten yours adjusted and fixed, were any of them out at both the top and bottom and flush in the center like mine is? I hope this is jsut an adjustment fix.

Each door hinge has a 13MM head bolt that you loosen to adjust the door in or out.
You can also adjust the striker at the rear of the door in or out.

With all the talk of door misalignment on this site, you would think the factory would start getting the alignment correct.

Like most have stated, the body shop can align the doors in 10-15 minutes.

The only problem is that you didn't read all of what I posted.
