Default Front camera issue

Just three weeks into my new 2020 Lariat, I noticed that the front camera was a little glitchy. Half the time it was fine but the other half, it was very dark and washed out or it looked distorted. I don't mind fixing something simple if you guys have seen it before, but I'm also sure it's covered. See pic:

Yea, like, a couple days ago... Wouldn't have thought this issue was so common but maybe it is. Looks like the advice given was that it may be a bad image processor - I'd take it in. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/front...-black-476527/

I am having the same issue on my 2020 as well, just took it in yesterday but my rear camera was having this issue. It would go black and then look like this with the lines only once in a while but they said it was the rear camera and they had to order parts for the fix. Hope this is the only issue and not the image processor because I will be right back in the service department if it happens again after the rear camera is fixed.

I've had my 2020 F150 XTR for 6 weeks exactly. Two days ago the backup camera went dark as others have posted. It lasted all day while I drove the vehicle. I called the dealership and they said bring it over in the morning. When I started the truck in the morning to drive to the dealership, VOILA! It worked fine. The service person told me to bring it back when it is performing incorrectly, and they will create a work order. I'm not too worried since I have almost 3 years of bumper to bumper warranty. Their opinion was that it will eventually totally fail. I'm OK with this suggestion, but...
I'm a curious sort, and I'm wondering something. IF it is moisture related as some claim, how many F150 owners with the Darkness/Lines issues have the Integrated Tailgate Step?
Let's have a show of hands.

Still love my truck!

I do have the step, but my front camera is doing it also. Only cameras not affected are the L and R puddle cameras. Word around the internet is image processor not the cameras.

So at my place of work, a coworker has purchase a new 2020 XLT XTR Package Beautiful truck IMO, in black or iconic silver. He purchased his about 2 weeks after I bought mine.. His truck doesn't have the tailgate step like my F150. He also has a few more KM's on his, maybe something like 3600 or so. Regardless...
he too has begun experiencing the dimming of the backup camera display on the dash. He told me that he has brought it into his dealership and was told it is a know issue, and that Ford is looking into it. He detailed that the dealership said that Ford is compiling information from owners to determine the scope of the production of cameras that are flakey. He's been put on "a list" with a work order created, and now he waits for a "back ordered" part. All good, now, he and I ware simply waiting out the 3 year bumper to bumper.
Hmmmm... I smell a TSB like the door latches freezing issues.
All good Ford... I still love my truck!

There is already a TSB, SSM 49033 - 2020 F-150/Nautilus/Expedition/Transit/Edge/Escape/Mustang – Front And/Or Rear Parking Aid Camera - Various Concerns – Built On Or Before 21-Jun-2020.
Theres also a thread about cameras. I have an issue with my front, but asked the dealer to change them both. Im now on the back order wait list.

Rear camera replaced. I think I've noticed that the camera is not quite as HD as the original (for the whole week that it worked right).

XLT no tailgate step.

Not to derail, but what do the front cameras do for you? I assume only work at parking lot speed? Mine doesn't have them but I think I'd like them when I'm trying to park.
