It sure does. Thats the exact same problem I had. Once you complete this and you confirmed it worked, please report back. This will add more people to confirm the fix.
I've been watching this thread hit and miss and I'm a bit lost. Is this to fix the issue with the LED headlamp adapters? For example my RR adapters cause the drivers side headlight to turn off after a while when on auto or when it is being used a a drl. Does this fix it?

Side note:
My 2014 Fusion with Parallel Only is:
736-04-01: 0001 0000
The new 2017's with Parallel and Perpendicular are way different:
736-04-01: 0740 2000
That x7xx xxxx has the 2 plus a 1 and 4 enabled.... not sure the difference. Maybe I will explore if I can get the 2017 software to load on my 2014 PAM without killing it.
My 2014 is stuck on parallel only, I have tried changing it in the past without success but you have re-peaked my interest.

APIM: 7D0-04-02 xxx7 xx
PAM: 736-04-01: x7xx xxxx xx
The change in APIM puts these buttons on the screen but are un-selectable until the change in PAM:
The change above in PAM enabes them:
Edit: testing in progress...don't try these changes right now

I dumped them all into the as built compare program and seemed to deduce it down to the following changes:
IPC
720-01-01 xxxx xxxx x6xx
PSCM
730-01-01 xxxx x1xx xxxx
PAM
736-01-01 x6xx xxx9 xx
736-04-01 x14x xxxx xx
736-05-01 xB79 x1xx D8
SODL
7C4-01-01 xxx2 xxxx
SODR
7C6-01-01 xxx2 xxxx
APIM
7D0-04-02 xxx9 xx
After making all the changes, I found the pin on the BCM that would go to the switch, tapped it on a ground like I was pushing the button, and the searching for parking space message popped up on the screen.
I checked for DTCs in forscan, as expected, i got errors for the front left and front right sensors. I also got a DTC on the IPC about invalid configuration for the SODR and SODL modules, so I'm not sure if I completely have it yet. Maybe one if you with more experience can sanity check what I have and see if it makes sense?
Edit-Already found a problem with my code in the IPC. Fixed it. Need to try tomorrow and see if the IPC DTC goes away.

After several complaints from guys towing fifth wheels (no tailgate) Ford came out with a disconnect rather than a real solution. They had dealers cap off the harness inside the tailgate starting October of 2015. There is a TSB for this somewhere. Most 2015's still have the harness and switch inside the tailgate. 16's and 17's don't have the physical hardware but the original quote said that i8iridium know's where to wire it to the BCM.
