I have the EB 2.7. You are correct. Selecting auto start/stop merely displays engine status. It's helpful when learning why activates it or keeps it from activating.

Help please. I turned on approach detection, remote start didn't work, so I turned approach detection off, and remote start still doesn't work.

While we are on the subject of power ports, which has been a very important topic in this thread, I just made an observation which some of you may not be aware of. It appears that the USB port remains powered on even when you do not have the accessories switch on and lock the car. How long it stays on, I have not investigated.

Well you can always try for a longer radio time-out setting

. So far you guys have figured out up to 60 min.

Thanks for the effort put in by all "beta testers" in this forum. I'd like to tinker as well, but I have 2 young kids and can't really sit in the garage for an hour at a time looking into these things myself...
