FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck

Not quite. You have to take over the brake pedal when the truck goes below 12-13mph and then accelerate with the pedal up to the minimum cruise speed (somewhere around 25mph) before you can hit resume, at which point traffic is usually coming to a stop again for me, and the process restarts until traffic clears up. This is in a freeway application.
On the backroads, I usually don't use it because whenever you go around a relatively sharp corner, the radar loses the car in front of you and it gives heavy throttle to get back up to cruise speed until you round the corner more and it sees the car again and slams on the brakes.
Would we really need additional modules? The truck is already capable of tracking lead vehicles speeds and detecting collisions at cruise speeds, so what's the difference if it had to come to a stop every once in a while?

I already tried all of this on my Fusion as well.

This is called adaptive cruise featuring stop and go. It's available in the highest trim level 2017 Ford Fusion. So in the future it may be possible to buy the hardware modify the front bumper / window (I'm not sure what hardware is needed), and enable it with ForScan.
I'm sure DanMc85 is probably in his yard working on it now.
So, good luck with that.

Need a Short Range LIDAR Module... the one with the green connector in this picture. Probably very similar on a F-150...

I finally got around to trying some of these settings on my 2016 F150 Lariat. Gauge numbers worked fine. Engine noise, I guess I need to be driving to hear the difference? I assume it is speed dependent... sitting in driveway it sounded the same with and without the engine noise enabled.
I disabled the double honk, and it did work for the case where you remove keys from car while engine running... but the one that really bothers me is the case where I shut engine off, leave keys in car, press internal lock button, exit car and close door. It still double honks and unlocks all the doors. Is this covered by another setting or something that has not been found yet or setting does not exist?
Also, before I did ANYTHING, I saved all as-builts. And I saw that some modules had DTCs... I save them in a log and cleared them. Is this normal? If they don't reappear in a week or two, should I just forget about them?
Thanks!

I think DTCs are normal in these trucks... so many systems that occasionally get a glitch/etc. I have them every time I connect on various modules, but they must not repeat / get stuck as they don't throw any lights/etc. So far I've just cleared them and ignored them.

Damn... thanks for your hard work! That's the biggest upgrade reason for me on an '18, but not sure I could make the jump and lose the $ on my 16 vs keeping it long term. I wonder if it'll be possible to buy the parts/upgrade thru that path. I'd maybe spend $1500 to upgrade (I'm sure trade/etc route would cost me 5k+).

Pictures can be deceiving but my cover does not look nearly that wide. Also in your picture the top is kind of rounded. Mine is straight all the way up. What is the sensor on the left side in the picture?
