Got it. I was looking for a PRINT button on the page, but realized you doing the print from a browser. Doing this from a PC instead of an iPad allows me to print to PDF.

Thank you, Clint

If you install the software for the ELM, does it connect then?

This may be the part I'm messing up on. I wasn't 100% what to download. I downloaded something from the google doc linked on the first page of this thread next to the elm I ordered. I also went to the website on the card that came with the elm I ordered and downloaded something. Same message on forscan though

Did you...
1. Update the firmware here? https://www.scantool.net/downloads/updates/obdlink_ex/
2. Install FTDI drivers? https://www.scantool.net/scantool/downloads/drivers/ or from the source... https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

When you plug it into your computer and WAIT do you see windows installing it? and ultimately see the USB balloon pop up that says installed? If not disconnect and reboot window machine and try again. I have never had to install any additional drivers, my luck only, on my Vista laptop and my Win 10 laptop. Windows always found what it needed.

Yes I downloaded all those but that was it. when I went to my downloads it was just a bunch of files that when I clicked on didn't really do anything or even open. Not sure if there is a next step after the download. Sorry for my ignorance I've been using Mac for ever and only recently (two days ago) bought a cheap pc.

Bring up the FORScan program. Plug the adapter into the computer. Click the Settings (gear) icon and the Connection tab, take a screen grab of it and post it please.

Also, please post a picture of your adapter.
