FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck
It also STILL doesn't fix the brightness bug introduced in 3.x, where the Sync display doesn't dim on a remote start at night.

Not really sure why the newest sync update is in this thread and my response is just as guilty....but if you wait for the dome lights and dash to go dark before hitting start switch your sync display will be at the correct brightness...a fix would be great though

This is not the sync 3 thread. Sync 3 / CarPlay / Andriod Auto posts shouldn't be here and I'm not going to respond to them here. I only mentioned GT blue is missing in this thread because it directly affects ForScan users. Any questions or troubleshooting questions relating to the updated files from Ford's servers should be asked on ACool's Sync 3 technical info thread.

To see the fan speed animation with ForScan on an XLT with Sync 3, you need to enable single climate repeater in the APIM with ForScan and also reboot the APIM by holding power + seek forward afterwards otherwise you won't see any changes. Everybody always needs to hold power + seek forward for 10 seconds after any Sync 3 changes / updates / ForScan edits in order to reboot the APIM and see the proper new results of whatever was being done; otherwise, you'll only see partial results or a black screen, or no changes at all.
There is a specific field where you can specify if your volume type is a slider or circular ****. Volume adjustments only animate on the screen when a source is playing, there is no ForScan adjustment which needs to be made.
That truck I made the video in isn't mine. Next time I'm in it I'll grab a screenshot of the APIM as built data and show you exactly what I set.

Old Fart
And you will be happy to know that the bluetooth no longer ramps up the volume on your phone. BTW I am not in the Apple Beta as what I just stated here would be against the NDA agreement. WINK WINK

Can someone tell me where to change the fuel tank size? I can't find it in the spreadsheet. Have a buddy who wants to swap in the 36 gal. tank, but it appears that his DTE will never calculate correctly unless we change that with Forscan.

Some changes are noticed right away while others like theme changes often require resetting the APIM to see immediate results.
