I did pull some VINs off of ebay for some FX4 trucks with remote start and checked their as builts as I couldn't find any XLT trucks with remote start. 6FEA was pretty consistent.

I found a Lariat with the 6FEA in the middle position on the 720-01-02 also.
Is the entry in the 3rd position on that line a checksum or something?

My 13 XLT is 5529 ECOA 24C2
The 13 Lariat w/factory RS is 5529 6FEA 2829

I don't understand the hex values and what they mean. I just go with what the smart people say. I went with the FX4 since they seem to match the options close to an XLT. With Lariats and the auto 4wd and other options I shied away from them on comparing their VINs. We better get out of here before we anger '15+ guys with out 12th gen problems.

Might be a dumb question. How you got Turbo gauge on the main Screen?

Its only on the 8" clusters from TT engines. It wont show on coyote engines.
If you have a TT engine the entry is on the excel spreadsheet OP has on the first post

In the menu system on the productivity screen (I think under Truck Info) you choose Gauge Selection and choose the boost gauge there.

Is it possible to enable remote start in my 2015 Lariat if it didn't come as an option? I found it the Google Docs spreadsheet. Wasn't sure if remote start was "hidden" inside my truck and just needed to be enabled.

Default Questions

Hey guys, the "double honk" has just about driven me crazy so I have ordered the ODBLink MX and the extended license. The MX should be here today, but I have a few basic questions.
1. Where do I plug the mx into the truck?
2. I have the account with FORScan. What do I do with it?
3. Will it automatically link up with my laptop (it does have bluetooth)
4. Do I need to be online while running the program?
5. Is it pretty easy to find the double honk to change it and increase the heat on the steering wheel?

Thanks for your help....and sorry for not being overly computer savy. I did disable the enhanced engine noise, but that was an old thread that required us to remove wires in a harness behind the seats.

2. You will use the account to get a license # from Forscan.
3. It should
4. No
5. Yes just follow the information in this thread.
