FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck

I was just looking at the spreadsheet and noticed something I had not noticed before and was wondering if someone can help make sense of this "configurable Splash Screen" option I am seeing. Does this mean we can customize the splash screen with a picture of our choice?
thank you

Canuck with a truck
Quick question for you folks, I'm installing a brake controller in my dads 2018 XLT. When i'm scanning the truck with my elm327 it says (reading vehicle info...) and it won't let me do anything in configure and thats after it's been reading for 20 minutes. When I programmed my 2016 xlt it only took me 4 minutes to do everything I needed to do

No, the splash screen animations are hard-coded into the firmware and we can't add custom ones. I tested the configurable splash screen option above a while ago and didn't notice anything different that could be done with it. My original hope for it was being able to display one of the different stock splash screens while still keeping the new Ford Blue GT theme but I wasn't to get it working.
They are now pushing this one below. Do you think its safe?

If you need coding in the N Fort Worth area, give me a shout. I would request that you already know what mods you want to make (along with the accompanying setting changes) and a USB stick for the backups of your original files. I'm no expert in the field of programming changes, but I know how to make them and I have the hardware/software to make it happen. Just throwing the offer out there, free of charge.
I've done the Bambi mod, enabled the sub output, disabled the auto start/stop on the 3.5L EB, window roll up/down via key fob, and one or two other things. I did a couple of other things just to see what I thought of them, but they didn't work (auto fold mirrors) or I didn't like them (climate control on screen), so I changed them back. I will likely do more once I go through the rest of the spreadsheet in greater detail.
Thank you to those that have contributed to the great information and the development of the software that makes all of this possible for the rest of us mere mortals.
