it seems that it waits until the third blink before turning off and allowing to go that direction. if you attempt to swap lanes before the third blink the system will try to put you back.
That seems odd. Mine is instant.

No mine works if you just tap, I don't have to push it all the way.

Its more likely the time required for the system to decide if anything is next to you and not the number of blinks that keep you from switching lanes. I have never seen anything mentioned about this before in Forscan. I'm sure you can't make the system work any faster other than shutting the system off.

I know those position control the Bluetooth Profile (08/09) and the Bluetooth Pairing Names (0C=Expedition, 06=Mustang)

Any other thoughts of where to look?
Nope, no other ideas from me.

That's not how mine works, it only fights you if you don't use them and I have mine set to 5 blinks for a lane change.

What year is your truck?

2018 - very new to me. i haven't changed the number of blinks yet, but plan to go to five.
i'll have to test more - it may just be that the direction is not turning grey - remaining green.

You are not supposed to be watching the little arrows,,, You should be watching those big shiny things hanging off the doors.

As long as the steering wheel isn't fighting you while changing lanes and it's still blinking it's working right. If it does fight you than it's not.

Maybe 2018s are different than 2015-2017 or maybe when you think you re working against lane keep assist you are actually fighting against those EPAS algorithms that are meant to correct against crowns in the pavement. EPAS will learn over time and smooth out. EPAS self corrections and Lane keep assist are two separate systems. In my books, they both suck.
