Thanks DanMc85. I located the 128 bit key #4913. But I'm not sure how to do the programming. I do have the two original keys. Do you have a reference explaining the programming? Many thanks

I know the panic alarm bugs a lot of people with accidental pushes and it's one of the things I'm actively looking for but have come up short so far. I have seen posted people using fob covers that they say helps with the accidental pushes: http://www.thejacketstore.com/store/pc/Ford-c16.htm

joeboat. I suppose you don't have the keypad on the door for keyless entry. When I am hunting or fishing and don't want to lose my key, I leave it inside of the truck and lock/unlock with the keypad.

I know what you mean by accidentally pushing buttons with the fob in your pocket. This is one of the reasons I'm glad Livnitup found the mod to re-lock doors after 45 seconds without door opening from remote unlock.

Need the two factory keys plus the 3rd key only that you are trying to add.

- Insert the first previously programmed coded key into the ignition.
- Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least three seconds, but no more than 10 seconds. DON'T start the engine.
-Turn the ignition off and remove the first coded key from the ignition.
-After three seconds, but within ten seconds of turning off the ignition, insert the second previously coded key.
-Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least three seconds, but no more than 10 seconds.
-Turn the ignition off and remove the second previously programmed coded key.
-After three seconds, but within 20 seconds of turning the ignition off and removing the previously coded key, insert the new 3rd unprogrammed key.
-Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least six seconds.
-Remove the newly programmed coded key.
-Reinsert new key and see if it starts the engine.

- NOTE: If your truck was/is a fleet vehicle, this method may be blocked/disabled and you have to have it done with Ford IDS.

If programming was not successful, wait 10 seconds and repeat steps. If you are still unsuccessful, take your vehicle to your authorized Ford Dealer to program with Ford IDS using coded PATS.

Why not just use a regular key and leave the fob in the truck

The key is interrogated by the security system.

I was thinking he had the switchblade style key, if so the chip is in the fob not the key.

Anyone want to give this a shot:
- This is what enables the option on my 2014 Fusion, I don't own an F-150.

Compared ABD with it disabled and enabled to discover the BdyCM code change.

Windows Remote Open/Close:

BdyCM
726-17-01: 0101 0101 014A - Remote Close Enabled
726-17-02: 0101 0101 014B - Remote Open Enabled

Need to change the entire line... yours is probably all 0's which is disabled.

Enjoy!

Smartest Idea YET... Honestly this does not have to that complicated. The truck came with the a Regular key (not in fob) when you accepted it from dealer. If not go get it from dealer

Open up your FOB and put a small piece of tape over the contact that engages when you press on it. This will stop it from working completely.
Put it back in your pocket and bump it all day long. It won't go off.
