Take a look at this post: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/forsc...-truck-348987/

There is a spreadsheet link in the first post that details a lot of possible code and there fonction for various modules.

How are you getting a "read-out" on what change to a module PID will have what effect?

Is there a big commented list of these codes somewhere that you're referencing to do this?

TIA

Not a PID. You get the asbuilt code from a VIN that has the tech package, and in the code theres a block that says IPMB, and the lines for it.

Have you found the small hazard switch that goes with the 360 camera switch ? Or does the SW-7480 part # include both of them ?

I am going to take the mirrors on my truck apart to check into what is required from a harness perspective. If it is OK with you, I will post what I find in your thread, unless you want me to start another.
Hi B-ManFX4,

I'm wondering the same thing. If you search under ford parts and search for "Hazard", or better yet "SW-7480", you will find the illustration, but this is the only switch that says "camera". It says the features are:

Auto Trans Shift Mode Switch
Standard Electric Starter Motor, Front/Side/Rear View Camera

Brand motion carries an aftermarket solution, which actually might be a good solution for a few. I don't really like the fact that it costs so much, considering everything else is already expensive enough. Also, I figured I have some of the items already or can purchase them much cheaper. It looks like a good system, but it just doesn't light my fire . Here is the link:

If you look at the picture, they have the oem version of the 360 button and it has the hazard too. The ford parts one does not say anything about having hazard too. I sent an email to them to ask about the part number and have been calling all last week but no answer. If the posts are for finding mirror harness/ect in regards to cameras, everyone is welcome to post. This might help anyone looking at it to, so your welcome to it! I have a feeling I might not have much time to reply back (today is an exception), so apologize in advance if I don't reply sooner.

1) I didn't know where it plugs in. The service manual shows the module plugs in behind the APIM, in the dash

2) I disassembled the dash, and there is no harness back there to connect it. It does not connect inline with anything else as the plugs look unique.

3) I need someone with the tech package to track theirs down and post pictures of where it connects.

Hi,

Yes, that was the same problem I had. I pulled the radio out and only harness/module that I found in addition was the GPS one, directly under the middle top dash (close to windshield). I thought if I had the rear camera it must be in there, or perhaps be in there by default? This is where I'm stuck as well. Maybe when I poke around with FORscan I'll be able to find more details. I don't have extra cash at the moment to purchase the service and also fear that it might not contain the exact camera details I'm looking for. That darn module has to be somewhere and I figured it must be inside in the middle somewhere, perhaps its not and directly under or in the engine compartment?

The 360 Camera/Hazard is one unit with 2 switches on it that presumably takes the same connector on the back that the Hazard alone takes. For example, I have a 4x4 without Hill Descent Control so my Traction Control button is wider but fills the same cutout. I bought a combo Hill Descent/Traction Control switch that fills the same cutout space and it takes the same connector on the back that previously just went to the Traction Control switch alone. I'll be able to 100% verify this about the 360/Hazard in a few days when I perform my mod.

Trial and error with thousands of writes to the truck's modules lol. Take a look at my spreadsheets here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=815852466

Had the center console area open today adding Hill Descent Control to my 4x4 so I pulled out the touchscreen to snap some pics for you guys. The Hazard/360 switch does have a single connector. Also below is the IPMB in my truck with 360 camera + Pro Trailer Backup Assist. I traced in red the path the harness with the IPMB connectors takes. Hope this helps

Yeah, had that hanging down (didn't disconnect) to snap the pics.
