Default It Fits!

It JUST fits! And yes, the rubber sweep touches the bumper on the way down.

Also is there a way to embed video on this forum?

I found a good couple of whacks with a sledge hammer in the areas where it hits/touches will solve your problem quite nicely.

Man I hope you at least manually closed the door first to see how it fit. Now that you got it where you want it, use a tennis ball hung from the ceiling and touching your windshield and you will get in enough every time without having to get out a recheck.

Oh yeah I manually tested with the trolley released to make darn sure. Tennis ball isn't needed I literally have to go up to the wall and touch it with the license tag frame. I inch up until I am touching the wall, let off the brake, then set the emergency brake, then put in park. I am considering removing the drywall on that part to get an extra 3/4". Or I might frame in the area (like a door) and remove the 2x4s to get close to 4" more.

Tight squeeze but you made it.

I almost feel guilty saying my garage is 50' long X 22 wide and my truck is the only thing in there LOL

Just sold my house and this is one of the things I'm pissed off about. Garages are supposed to be 20x20, which leaves plenty of room (at least compared to you. Ha ha), since our SCrews with short beds measure 19' 4". One of the 'custom' houses we were looking at had the freaking garage of just 18x17. Geez. In most I can fit the truck, but NONE has been 20x20 anymore. They're barely 18' wide, so even though the truck fits, it's quite tight in there with both cars. My wife has an Optima. Wanted to fit a motorcycle, but since we're downsizing, it's impossible to find a house with an oversized (or 3-car garage) of 2K sq ft. And lots are so freaking narrow no chance of putting a shed. If I was to buy one, I'd have to put it in a storage, and not sure I want to deal with that hassle. Frustrating, but hey, at least I want to have the new truck garaged . My ex 4-car garage had room to spare too, with about 24' deep, and 20 wide each. Oh well.

I think we are the lucky ones... I added a 52x20 addition to our home back in 2000. Back then it was to be able to store a boat, jet skis etc. in the back while still being able to park a car in the front. Sold the water toys years ago, but all the space is wonderful. My only wish, is that I could have had 9 or 10 foot ceilings. But there is living space above that had to meet the existing house, thus the constraints.

Shoot, I had a F350 Dually Screw with an 8 foot bed and parked it in my garage with 2 feet between the front and door(backed it in) and 4 feet behind it. Suckers!

I have the opposite problem. Fits in the garage with plenty room to spare, but barely fits in the driveway.
Hangs 6 inches over sidewalk. Garage belongs to my Corvette. Could fit both, but have too many tools.
Pic is deceiving.
