First spark plug replacement?
At what mileage did everyone get their first round of plugs replaced?
I'm being forced at 75,000 miles and am a little annoyed with Ford and it's 100,000 mile service intervals. I plan on calling customer care at some point this week and seeing if they can give me like a key chain or something....
3.5EB's apparently go thru plugs fast.

I purchased my 2015 as a CPO in 2017 with about 37k miles on it, and one of the first things I did was plugs... they were all a bit cooked to my eye.
Maybe this is overkill, but they're cheap and fairly easy to do. I'll probably change them every 30k at this point.
I suppose I should mention that I never was a fan of leaving a plug in place for 100k miles.

Worst hairday ever...
I learned years ago with my old Ranger which had 60k mile interval for plugs, the electrodes were somewhat worn and had to be re-gapped at 30-40k. And for as difficult as it was to get to some of the plugs it made more sense to just put in new plugs for a few $$$ each.
Plugs are much easier to get at on the 2.7L but will check every 10-12k and replace around 40-50k

My apologies, you did not mention the misfire in cylinder 4 in your original post. I really thought you were being sarcastic. I'm from a generation that changed plugs at 10,000 to 15,000 miles. So 75,000 miles is pretty good. And some folks are pulling plugs at 50,000 miles even on these newer engines.

It was a half sarcastic post but I am genuenly interested at what mileage people are getting their plugs changed in the ecoboost motors. It's sounding like it is much more often than in my previous 5.4L.
