Default First Major scratch

Somehow (I have no clue how) my truck has received multiple scratches, with one huge scratch. Talk about hurting my feelings! How would you guys recommend going about fixing this? Thanks!

looks like some asswipe used your hood to set their trash on while they needed their hands for something else. I had a lady set her case of beer on my bed cover at a corner store last week. I set off the panic just for S&Gs she dropped the case busting 2-3 cans of beer. I was satisfied.

Does your fingernail catch the scratch? If so, touch up paint is your answer.

If your nail doesn't catch it a DA polisher and some time.

Yikes, who did you **** off? Minimal blend repair by someone who paints and has talent to a full hood respray, IMO. Im no expert, but I think this is beyond a "touch up" issue.

OUCH!!!! Not a car wash, right? Almost looks deliberate and multiple applications.

Looks like some A-hole key'd it.
If the scratch is deeper than the clear coat down to the primer or worse the metal, i'd have it looked at by a reputable body shop.

THAT HURTS all the way over to me!

So let me guess - You're Single and the one-night-stand saw you with your next hottie so she got some revenge.

Seriously, looks like a out of control Drone touchdown to me.

Find a professional detailer (mom & pop guy that's been in the business for many years) to do an assessment and steer you in the right direction.

Thanks everyone I appreciate it! I was hoping it would be a reasonably easy fix... let's all laugh together lol. I will probably follow toptobottom's advice and take it to someone who knows exactly what they're doing so that I won't mess it up. My dad swears he thinks someone has done it but I can't think of anyone that would have done it on purpose, but then again I don't know what caused it in the first place.
