Default Finding Factory key pad code

Just bought a new F150 king ranch, I didn't receive the factory key code. I can't find the back up key fob detector. Help?

It may be in the cup holder. Just remove the rubber liner in the bottom of the cup holder.

Here is the process with the different fob holder.

I know you found the key code, but this trick works on XLT's without the smart key. (I have an XLT so I don't have pushbutton start.) Put a key in the ignition and turn it ON but don't start it. Turn it OFF and take out that key. Put a different key in the ignition and turn it ON but don't start it. The factory key code will be displayed on the dash display. The XLT only required 2 times, not 4.

I have an XLT and bought my truck used from a Ford dealer. Evidently the dealer did not know this trick. They had to get one of their mechanics out and he took off the right panel underneath the glove box (near where a passengers right foot would be), shined a flashlight up in an area, and found the code there. Strange but it worked I guess. Needed the code to reset the keypad.

The factory code should have been on a card with your owners manual. You need to make a trip back to the dealer and have them get you the correct information.

He bought the truck used. If the original owner threw the card away, it's gone.

This is the way I found my code after getting my truck used.
