Finding Factory key pad code

Here is the process with the different fob holder.
I know you found the key code, but this trick works on XLT's without the smart key. (I have an XLT so I don't have pushbutton start.) Put a key in the ignition and turn it ON but don't start it. Turn it OFF and take out that key. Put a different key in the ignition and turn it ON but don't start it. The factory key code will be displayed on the dash display. The XLT only required 2 times, not 4.

The factory code should have been on a card with your owners manual. You need to make a trip back to the dealer and have them get you the correct information.
