I've been trying to get out of my Silverado for some time now and was blessed to be able to snag a new to me 2019 F-150 XLT with only 9k miles on it and not a scratch to be found. It looked brand new. Purchased it for $36k, with dealer giving me full book value for the Silverado and letting me keep my Toyo's I had bought over the summer. Very happy with the purchase. The wife thinks it's the most comfortable truck she's been in and actually enjoys being in it. We're now saving a good amount of money, getting better gas mileage, and happy with our vehicle - so I'd call that a win. Future plans for it are a tailgate dampener (on the fence between DeeZee or OEM), possibly an 8" instrument console swap, Linex bed liner, and either a tool box or bed cover.
Details of the truck at time of purchase: 2019 Stone Gray XLT 4x4 with 3.5 EcoBoost, with 302A, Center Console, FX4, Max Trailer Tow, Navigation, Reverse Sensing System, Tailgate Step, XLT Power Equipment Group, and Wheel Well Liners. Added Toyo Open Country AT3's (which are fantastic - highly recommended).

I'd recommend the OEM one, does the job and is out of sight. Not sure about newer trucks, but mine already had the correct hinge for it, just needed the gas cylinder added.
The biggest issue was comfort. Neither my wife or I was really comfortable on longer trips. Especially for the driver, it has a dead pedal that made my leg go numb after about 45 minutes in the truck. Outside of that, I had to take a pay cut and had more truck than we wanted/needed. We had 23k miles on the Silverado and had no mechanical issues, though.
