Default Fed up!

I am fed up with this truck and it's stupid door alignment! The dealership had it for a month and senti t off to a third part body shop to have the doors aligned. I got it back and while driving down the road, the door began to shake and rattle like it was about to fly off. I can not get the damn driver side door to align for ANYTHING! It's like it's bent! I am THIS close to trading it in for a Dodge.

Idk, I'm just frustrated. I love this truck and I want to keep it but this door being out of alignment is driving me up a wall!!!

I mean, this is not normal misallignment. This is like advanced misalignment from bent door misalignment.

I had an 03 Ram before this and I liked it but traded it in for the 16 XLT Screw. Rode in a new dodge the other day.... quiet like these trucks should be.

What's not to understand? A 50K vehicle that has and has had chronic door alignment issues since the new model came out in 2015? Ford has failed to fix in 2016 an obvious problem? Increased wind noise? Rightfully pissed owner that has taken it to the dealer that hasn't fixed the issue. Seems pretty clear to me.

OP, I feel your pain.

Thank you. I'm gonna see if the dealership will let me trade it out for another one without the door alignment problems. The loaner I had didn't have the wind noise issue anywhere NEAR as badly as my truck does.

When parts are made by machines, they will do as they are programmed every time. The problem comes when the people loading the raw materials and parts on to the machine. I work on jets and we have some machines that do precise drilling and riveting, amazin accuracy and consistency. But when one panel of the exterior of the jet isnt put on the rig for the machine correctly, it will be wrong.

Pretty sure thats what happened somewhere with my damn 2015 Mustang GT. Nothing was aligned. And the hard mount points didnt "mesh" with each other well enough to allow panel alignment to meet prescribed standards.

Yeah that sucks. I had an opposite experience. I test drove a 16 ram and the wind noise was loud, even the salesman said it was annoying. Not to say they couldn't have taken care of it though. I hope ur ford works out for you.
