Factory sub

New to the thread. I have a 2018 XLT with 302a package and Sirius. I do have power to the WPT harness and the amp turns on. However I do not have audio out. I enabled in Forscan - set 727-01-01 to 1809 - xxxx - xxxx. I went back and re-read the ACM to confirm it shows the change and it does. When I measure the voltage at the RCA connector with a volt meter on AC I see no output . I have read the threads where people have no +12V going to the connector but I do have +12 just no audio out. Am I missing something or is it possible audio out is not wired in the connector in my truck? Thanks in advance.

I'd you're going bigger you could still use the harness and pull a power feed. Still much simpler than tapping the doors or pulling the dash apart.

I was not going to give up. In the end my problem was a bad sub amplifier. My trusty MTX amp finally let me down. However I did learn some things that might be of interest. I spent a lot of time in Forscan changing setting. Here is what I found. Truck is 2018, XLT, 302a package, Sport package, 3.5EB. I ran a 100hz test tone and measured the output of the sub connector in the back with my Fluke multi-meter and stereo volume set at 15 (looks like half way).
727-01-01 XXX* XXXX XXXX - default * value was 1. No output at all from rear connector but 12V present
727-01-01 XXX* XXXX XXXX - set at 8,9 or A - output turned on and read 35mV (727-01-02 set at 0A88 C3)
727-01-02 X*88 XX - default of * was 6 - this changed output to 245mV (a big jump)
727-01-02 X* 88 XX - set * to 0 output was 245mv
727-01-02 X* 88 XX - set * to 9 or A and output dropped back to 35mV
So clearly there is some major equalization going on with some of the settings. I did not check any other frequencies but you can definitely hear the difference between the settings. I bought a cheap Boss amp to test and used a custom enclosure I built for my previous truck with a 10" image dynamics sub. Everything is working and I will spend some time cleaning up the install and playing with adjustments this weekend. Thanks for all those who posted the invaluable info in this thread.

The jump in voltage you are seeing between settings is high level vs low level. It's not equalization. Be careful if you run rcas into your amp with the higher voltage setting enabled. You can over drive your inputs and burn that portion of your amp up.

Are you saying high as in speaker level out? Or is it just a high line level?

I have a 2017 Raptor with Sony Sub. I was hoping to wire my sub in with a wpt1212 harness. Being an idiot, I didn't check that there was an OEM sub connector behind the rear drivers seat before i got ready to install. I go out to start the install and I do not have a an OEM sub connector. Not too happy. What options do I have to connect my powered sub I was going to replace the Sony with? Run power to battery and connect to high level input somwhere? Can you use the plug that goes into the sony sub?

bearlobo - just to double check - the connector is not behind the rear seat it is behind the C pillar panel on the drivers side behind the rear seat. You can't see it unless you pull the panel loose.

I looked 3 times since I thought it was all 2017's had one. I pulled the side panel away and still couldn't find it. I see the main bundle of wires and the ground wire but nothing else.
