Default Factory Keyless Entry Code

Hi, I'm new to the forum and just purchased a 2018 F150 Lariat 3.5 Ecoboost 4x4 loaded with 502a and tech package. The truck only came with 1 key and no code for the keyless entry. The only way to reset is to have the factory code. I am told either I must have 2 keys to get this code or pay Ford to look it up for me. Is it possible to get the code some other way? Or can I use Forscan to find it in a module? Any help is much appreciated!

Google model year and keyless entry code and it will tell you where to find it, usually behind rear seat or passenger fuse box.

On my 18 Lariat the keyless code was behind the passenger kick panel. Remive the door sill plastic plate, then pop that cover off. It was freaking hard to see, since its on the back side, but i got a oic with my phone camera to read it.

Edit, typed that from my phone... I need to add, the back of the fuse box, not the actual panel.

If you have the two master keys put one key in the ignition and turn to the on position. Turn it off remove it and put the second key in and turn to the on position. The info display will show a 5 digit number, this is the code.

If it's keyless it the same procedure except put the FOB in the access point turn on turn off repeat with second FOB.

I would highly recommend taking it to the dealership, pay the 300.00 for the second key and have the missing key wipe. Having a live key that can start my truck and I don't have control would really worry me.

I actually found mine while I was going through the papers and stuff that were in the owners manual binder. It was on a card about the size of a credit card.
