Default F150Leds Headlights

Anyone have experience with the F150Leds head light kit?

I'm talking about these specifically: http://www.f150leds.com/2015-headlight-cree-system

I have seen a few posts about their other products but nothing on the headlights?

I have a Lariat coming but I did not get the OEM quad beam LEDs. I was hoping this would be a decent alternative that wasn't too expensive.

If you haven't used F150Leds, does anyone have any other alternative that doesn't cost thousands of dollars? There is a post here that details just switching the existing halogens to another set of higher output halogens but at the cost of fairly short bulb life. I am hoping to find something long lasting, not blue, and brighter than stock but that doesn't blind on coming traffic.

I looked into them and I honestly think they are selling widely available stuff for a very inflated price. Do some research and I'll bet you can find the same thing or better for much less. Their videos are decent, however.

the problem with the led low beam is that the rear cooling fan on the bulb , most wont fit into the hlmp housing. I found one that did made by gen2 led lights. had to purchase resistors for them to work properly and they only lasted a few weeks then one blew out. so I swapped for hid kit and they seem to work better, now the high beam and fog lights there is no issue with fit and I still have those in led form and they work great.

Peeps on this forum are happy with Putco LED headlight bulbs. The part number is 270011. They don't use a fan, they use cooling ribbons to draw the heat away from the bulb. You can either tuck them into the housing or cut a slit into the cover so they stick out. Just seal it up if you do that. Oh and the black box gets stuffed into the housing as well. Apparently it's best to put that in first before playing with the ribbons.

ebay ones will look like this. This is probably what they're selling you on that site.

provided you have to find the right bulb size for your truck.

The putco lights look like they're using a cree led as well. Cree always has a little clear bubble over the led.

These look they would work well. It says the color temperature is 6500K though. Not really interested in blue lights.

6500K isn't blue. 8000K is though. Pretty sure the stock F-150 LED headlights are also 6500K.
