Default F150 Random engine shutter and engine shut off

I have a 2017 f150 xl 2.7 6spd 2WD crew cab, for past few months I’ve noticed that after sitting at idle for about five minutes or so the engine may drop idle almost like it surges but only once and it won’t replicate itself. As well as sometimes when or slightly after coming to a stop I’ve had the truck completely shut off, sometimes the battery icon pops up other times the wrench light pops up. Usually I just cycle the key off and truck starts back up no issue. Haven’t been able to replicate it consistently seems to just happen randomly. It has the auto start stop function, has a brand new agm battery in it. Truck is stock no modifications. I’ve replaced purge valve under the hood, pcv valves, and had the charging system tested and alternator functions all working in order…..
Any suggestions?

OP, give the 'ol throttle body a good cleaning. When you get it put back together, don't touch the gas pedal and fire it up, leave it running 'bout 10-15 mins on its own. See if that heps your vee hickle.

I did clean the MAP and the throttle body, I may try to see if the VVTs are gummed up at all and try letting it idle for a bit. Thank you!

Update: I was able to clean the map sensor and all the vvt solenoids, nothing looked out of the ordinary. Even did a smoke test on the intake system and nothing. Still having a really hard stutter like the engine stalled after sitting at idle for about 10 mins. It only seems to do it once though no mare than that…
Any suggestions?

I read around here a member reported good results on a stutter or shutter replacing all 4 VVT solenoids. Don't recall if they completely fixed his problem though. They are easy to replace on the 2.7, don't have to remove the valve cover. You could pull all 4 and give them a good clean first.
