I like most of it. I don't like the plastic on the bottom of the door. Makes me think Avalanche.

they should just get a rcsb 5.0 whipple with 3.73 locking rear diff 2x4, lowered with quality suspension and a lariat 502A interior set up

Ran across an old Lightning not too long ago, those things are fast!

I, unlike others, did like the concept of the previous-gen Tremor. Ford kinda half-assed it though, they easily could've matched performance figures (of the previous Lightning) with the 3.5L EB if they gave it the proper treatment. I thought it at least looked good.

I hope Ford commits to the new Lightning, prolly with the updated 3.5 EB due out later this year, and hopefully additional mods.

It would be neat to see Ford sell some "street-themed" F150's too, if only appearance packages & whatnot, buyers eat that stuff up!

No thanks, that is ugly.

All ford would have to do is put the 3.5 ecoboost in a RCSB 2WD XL sport and they could parts bin engineer a sport truck.

They tried that in 14, it was called the Tremor. It Flopped badly. A full second slower in the 1/4 mile than the Gen 2 lightnings. Then they added every option in the book to make it unaffordable. A few guys bought them, but the lots are still full of them. A supercharged V8 in a RCSB is the only way to build a Lightning replacement. The 3.5 Eco's just don't have enough performance potential to Lure the Lightning owners away from their Gen 2 trucks. THey rarely leave trucks stock. Raptors are great for the 4X4 crowd, Now Ford needs a true sport truck. Until then, I'll keep my RCSB 5.0 to tide me over.
