Our fleet regular cabs have LD though.
I've seen an LD on a 145 Scab which should be the same as the 145 Screw but it was on a '16. I haven't looked on an '18+.

I would like to remember my turquoise '69 F100 as a "good truck", but in 1980 when I inherited it from Dad, who bought it new, it was riddled with rust and the 360 / 3 on the tree was so thirsty that I swear I could see the gauge moving. It was reliable, though. Twin I-beams up front, 16" bias-plys, an AM radio, and the sloshing of gas in the tank behind the seat, inside the cab...

That would have been a nice one, all right. Somehow, my rather "unmechanically-minded" Dad bought the truck without even thinking about the engine - I guess that the salesman did a good job. It was only when one of my hot-rodding cousins visited -- I remember his exact words - "Holy crap! What size V8 is that!" that Dad realized that he hadn't bought his usual 6 cyl. He traded a short-box '63 in on the '69.
Cheers to you.

You can get an XLT pretty close to 12xx if you try hard enough. Someone just posted one without the Pano roof with 13xx Sticker.
my 501a lariat with 20's, pano roof, 4x4 is 1768 lbs

With no other Fx00 trucks in the lineup, I don't think the F100 name would be well received.

And who the hell would want to own a not-F150? Go down this line of thinking, before long...

F160 XLT
F170 Lariat
F180 Platinum
F190 Limited
F200 Raptor
F175 King Ranch?
F155 STX?

Ranger owners would feel slighted as F100 owners, so it would get rebranded as the F145 Ranger.

It's not going to happen. If Ford splits up the line into 100 and 150 they can't compete in the "best selling truck" sweepstakes. You can't divide it and then decide to add them.

Ford doesn't do it that way. Ford doesn't disclose how many F150's they make only how many F-Series. The F100 would be included in that number just like the Super Duty currently is.

As for not being able to add it... They added the F150 to F-Series numbers when it was introduced.
