And what's up with electric start. I didn't pay 60K for all of these features. I want a hand crank.

Did the jumper hack day 1. It takes 10 minutes and you are done with that button. Also, you save a tree not using a toothpick.

I'll relook at the jumper option, I just don't like taking it all apart, taking it apart doesn't scare me, it's putting it back together correctly 😅.

If any of you use FORScan, it can be turned off (disabled) that way also.

I don't like it one little bit, but I've gotten along fine turning it off each time. I remember about half the time, and when I don't, I remember the first time it turns off on me. So even half the time, it's only a bother once on each drive. I don't want a toothpick in there, and I don't want to put a jumper in the back. It could be a lot worse if you had no option, or if the only option was forscan.

I made it a total of two weeks before doing the jumper mod. Really easy mod to do.

I turned it off in forscan this weekend took all of 10 seconds. Just comes up saying vehicle charging on the menu now. Don't have to mess with switch ever again.

i believe you can even remove the start/stop screen entirely if you desired via forscan. This feature is no longer forced on us!

Because if there was a button Ford couldn't use it during the EPA testing which would negate the entire point. Use Forscan to turn it off and blame the environmental weenies.
