engine start and stop
Sorry, but I think this feature totally sucks, I can't believe I paid over $50k on a truck and I don't get the option to turn this feature off permanently? Are they kidding me? I know about the hacks, as I have the toothpick holding it in, but it failed the other day, and why in the heck do they allow me to turn it off in the options in the cluster gauges, but it reverts back on restart. So I have to hack a $50k truck? Unfriggin believable!

I don't like it one little bit, but I've gotten along fine turning it off each time. I remember about half the time, and when I don't, I remember the first time it turns off on me. So even half the time, it's only a bother once on each drive. I don't want a toothpick in there, and I don't want to put a jumper in the back. It could be a lot worse if you had no option, or if the only option was forscan.
I turned it off in forscan this weekend took all of 10 seconds. Just comes up saying vehicle charging on the menu now. Don't have to mess with switch ever again.
i believe you can even remove the start/stop screen entirely if you desired via forscan. This feature is no longer forced on us!
