Use Citrus cleaner found at Lowes made by Zeps. Spary it on let it sit then rinse it away. If you have stubborn grease hit with a potato brush than rinse. It is child safe along with smells good.

I have the cover on my 2018. Just curious, are the two (I think) mounting studs still on the uncovered engines? Or, is adding the cover no longer an option?

I have the cover on my 2018. I remove it in the warmer months and keep it on in the winter.

Removing the mounting studs would probably require re-engineering the mounting brackets (the brackets almost always serve purposes other than just holding a cover in place). As the reason these covers sometimes disappear after a few years is a cost cutting measure, I doubt the brackets were changed. They most likely just cancelled an order of a few million covers (whole lotta dough saved!).
