Default Electrical Gremlins??

Hi folks. First post been looking around the site but seeing if I can find any information before heading to the dealer. I have a 2015 F150 Ecoboost with 60k miles on it and the following started happening today
  • Air bag light on dash is on
  • Left rear "impact" sensor is throwing errors
  • Driver side window switches are not working
  • Radio Buttons Do not work
  • A/C Heat controls do not work including seat controls
  • Navigation errors
These items don't seem related other than the Radio and A/C controls being the same unit it looks like so wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this?.

Thanks if anyone can help me troubleshoot

Ouch. Have you made any recent changes to the truck?

APIM, everything you mentions gets controlled there.

Check your battery and cables. When batteries start to decline in performance the voltage can drop below acceptable levels during and engine start which may result in a module (or more) to not boot up properly and produce phantom DTCs.

I got 12.7 V on the battery then 13.5 V with the truck running. Thought it would be higher when running

No. That is normal at engine idle. Charging voltage is controlled by the BMS. Have you load tested the battery?

I'll run over to pep boys or something in the morning and get it done. I don't think my cheapo multimeter has a min/max function

I experienced the same problem. Turned out PCM needed to be updated at Ford Dealership, mine was still under factory warranty

I believe Gordy is right , I had a lot of the same issues on my 16 Lariat resets, updates worked temporarily then APIM was replaced and has been good every since. APIM is pricey out of warranty.
