Picked up my 2018 today. I turned on my easy entry mode but it only moved the seat back a few inches. The manual said 2.

But my 13 and my 10 slide the seat much farther back.

Is there a way to adjust the distance it will move?

Set the seat more forward for driving.. Then it will have room to move back..

SSM 46894 - 2018 F-150 - Incorrect Easy Entry Easy Exit Feature Operation - Built On Or Before 4-Oct-2017

Some 2018 F-150 vehicles built on or before 4-Oct-2017 may exhibit the driver seat only moving 1/2 inch during easy entry easy exit operation. Perform a Driver Seat Module (DSM) reset using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) or Ford J2534 Diagnostic Software (FJDS) release 107.04 or higher. Select Toolbox - Body - Service Functions - DSM Reset then perform an Automatic As-Built data update. For claiming, use causal part 14C708 and applicable labor operations in section 10 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.

2018 F-150 vehicles will exhibit a steering wheel that does not telescope towards the instrument panel during easy entry and easy exit operation. This is normal system operation and no repairs should be attempted. The owner guide is being updated to reflect normal system operation.

 

I have a 2018 Lariat with power memory seats. Can I add easy entry/exit to it some how?

 

You should already have that as an option. Just select it in your IPC menu.
