Replacing Windshield
I am having to replace the windshield on my 2019 150 Lariat. This is the first time I have had to replace one on a a vehicle with cameras. Are there any "watch outs" I should be looking for? I'm having Safelite replace it (they always done a great job with my other vehicles). But I notice there is a charge to calibrate the cameras. Any advice is welcomed. TIA
Is this being covered by your comprehensive insurance? I would request OEM glass and see if they approve.
I currently have aftermarket glass and I do not think it is as quiet as the OEM Soundscreen acoustic glass. there is also a dip in the glass near the top left that is visible from the outside.

I had mine replaced by Safelite and requested OEM glass. That’s exactly what I got and no issues. The technician has the calibration equipment with him and took the truck for a ride afterwards to calibrate the camera. Trouble-free since June, so I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
Had mine replaced last year. I went with a local mom and pop shop that had several locations around the metro that I had used on my previous F150. They use your VIN to identify your glass now days because there are so many options out their that require different glass. I had a choice between the OEM that had the F150 logo on it, or for $200 less no F150 logo. I went without the logo and it was $270 installed. I checked other glass shops and they were over $100 more for the same glass. When I asked the shop I was using why, the lady said I don't know since there is only one wholesale glass dealer in the area and we all get our glass from the same place. I went with no F150 logo this time, because the last time I paid extra for the logo it got cracked again about a month later. To me there was no point. Here in
Oregon we use mostly rock in the winter, not salt so truck windshields take a beating. Oh, one other option was Gorilla glass, but I'm not paying almost $900 for a windshield that I can get for $270.
