Default E46

I just joined after lurking for a while.
Anyone else own a E46 along with the F150? Both are fantastic, the F150 is my amazing daily and the ZHP is my toy!

Oh yeah. Exact same thing here, my F-150 is my daily. Usually prefer to drive my F-150 but my "garage queen" is my E46 M3.

I know some people on here have some way nicer garage cars, but I love mine. Bought 2 years ago, 2004 for $15k. 57k miles. I've put 6k trouble frees miles on it. The S54 engine is just a dream, very analog experience. The vets sell for about 10k cheaper, and I don't mind the convertible, kids love it. Highly recommend if you like German sports cars, I love the engineering.

What kind of tires do you have on those raptor wheels. I like the look. What kind of lift?

Thanks.
Tires are 10 ply KO2s 285-70-17 along with Bilstein 5100s set at 2.1" for the lift. It retains a very slight rake at this setting due to the weight of the 5.0. I am happy with this setup as its so much more compliant than the crappy stock shocks. Also handles great in the corners and that whole rear end wobble is no longer there on road undulations.

Nice!
Mine is a sleeper wagon with a complete ZHP drivetrain swap, engine, transmission, clutch, driveline, brakes. Also has a LSD.
A lot of fun, I even track it at local HPDE events and it does well against much more capable cars like Porsches and newish M variants. Here is a pic of it on Conti slicks

Oh man, that LSB is insane. And you are killing me with those CSL wheels. I want them so bad, very well done.

Now for the most important question... do the turn signals work in the F150s at least?

Whoa. Didn't expect to see anything like that on this forum today, but that thing is perfect.

I sold my 2004 M3 years ago, but thought it was worth sharing. I ordered it new in 2004 and it was my “toy” for several years, and still one of the best cars I’ve owned. Not terribly fast by today’s standards, but just very raw, and a real enthusiasts drivers car. BMW does not build them like this anymore, these were the last of an era. I have a buddy that still has his Imola red ‘vert smg and he loves it.
