Default Driver Side Armrest

I've tried googling / amazon searching with no luck..

I have a 2019 Lariat but the armrest on the left side is too low. Is it possible to buy something aftermarket for it? I see older models have one, but it won't work in the 19.

I replaced my XL armrests with the leather ones from other trims but honestly, my arm naturally rests on the window area above the armrest. But if you want, there is this thing.....

I bought the SnapRest with the intention of doing a video review on it. Unfortunately because everyone looks at a review (even a negative one) as an endorsement, I never posted a video on it because I couldn't recommend it. I bought the expensive leather one. The material was nice, but it never really felt more comfortable. The position for my elbow was better, but it felt like the SnapRest was going to fall off of the door arm rest (even with the included semi-permanent VHB tape). Without the tape the arm rest falls off when you close the door.

They are made by a small business, in the USA. So I definitely appreciate the ingenuity and home grown feel. It just was not for me. I kept mine around for when I go on long road trips, but I couldn't use it daily.

Thks for this write-up....I to looked @ the snap rest....My thoughts were it looked flimsy & I wondered if it would even stay on (longevity wise)

I put one of these on the arm rest, right where my elbow sits...

I have had a SnapRest for 6 months or so. It is great for me. It comes with 1 strip of double sided tape--I added 2 more. The instructions say you can add a screw into the armrest. I did. No problems coming loose, but I never pull on it to close the door.

Thanks for the reply - are you using it on a '19? The first review mentions it only holds in place with 2 side tape and others seem less than impressed :/

Sorry for the bad news, but my Platinum armrest is freaking vinyl, and same thing with the center console and dash 'pads'. The only leather is in part of the seats, and steering wheel. And maybe the shift boot, but haven't scrutinized it yet.
