Default Door Trim Sharp Plastic

Anyone's truck have razor...and I mean RAZOR sharp edges on the trim pieces on the front doors? As I opened the passenger door today, I grabbed at this location and had the door been moving faster, I have no doubt it would have sliced my thumb to the bone. Both front door trim pieces are this way, upper and lower corners. Surely this isn't the design of these pieces and if so, WTH was Ford thinking. I'll be taking a file to these pieces ASAP. Love the truck but SMH at this.

Attended a local event showcasing numerous auto manufacturers and both the 16 F150's there had the same sharp edges on the plastic trim, more so on the passenger doors.

My wife noticed this immediately on the passenger door. Caught it with her finger twice. This thread reminded me to add that to my to-do list.

Good catch. I went out and checked mine. Both sides are very sharp. Hit both corners carefully with a small file - all fixed. Thanks OP.

My wife noticed this on her Escape. I checked mine after she showed me and, sure enough I have them as well in the same spot. You'd think they could have chamfered or beveled those...So much for quality control.

Had my truck for 17 months. No one has caught a finger there on either door...how do you open and close the door?

lol glad I'm not the only one who cut their finger on this. The wind caught my door as I was opening it, so I slid my hand up and sliced my finger good. Time for a lawsuit? i'll take the dremel to it ASAP.
