I got a little stuck a couple weeks ago, thanks traction control, and every time I went around the truck and then tried getting in the tailgate or the passenger doors I would have to walk back around. Once or twice is not bad and slightly annoying, but after about the 7th time I shut that off.
Also, if the ground is frozen, and you're not completely high centered, have faith and just floor it. I kept trying to not dig a rut or sink any more and spent an hour wasting time. After an hour someone stopped and said they have a front loader at the farm up the road and will grab it. So I figured I'd be getting out one way or another, so I just stood on the throttle..... and crawled right out. I was trying to take my detour road, it had blown in with hard pack snow and someone was stuck in the main trail so I attempted to go around. Was doing ok until I slowed down to not look like a douche going around them, then traction control kicked in. I thought I had held the button long enough to disable it, but I did not.
