Default Door alignment

I have a new 2016 XLT, the drivers door is out about 1/8+" on the bottom and in about that much on the top. Does anyone else have doors out of alignment?

I just bought a 2016 F-150, and the left rear door has to be slammed to shut. I don't know if it another engineering issue or just poor manufacturing. I don't think I'll take it in, because I want the other three doors to keep working. And i'm sure it isn't covered under even the extended warranty.

Take your truck in the adjustment of the doors is covered under the original bumper to bumper warranty. Maybe this has something to do with the parts that fell off your truck.

My drivers rear door was way out of alignment with the cab corner trim. The service mangers stands back and says 'you don't need glasses to see that, its way out, we'll adjust it'. And they did. Now you open the door. It drops down 1/4" or more and makes it very hard to close. Now I notice the passengers rear door opens and drops also. ???? very discouraging.

Whoever is in charge of "quality control" on the door installations should be fired. Same goes for whoever designed the paper thin weatherstripping. Gone and gone.

Sounds like they took the easy way out and just adjusted the striker instead of adjusting the hinges, that's why your door is dropping down and hard to close-take it back tell'em do it right also paint the bolts they wrench on.Nothing uglier than opening the door and seeing bolts with half the paint knocked off.

Yes, both my rear doors on a 2015 were out of alignment. Experienced difficulty closing both.

The dealer resolved this during it's first service and I have had no issues since. Surprised this hasn't been dealt with at the factory once and for all by now...
