Don't use Waze but have a GPS speedo app and Escort live app and both show about 10MPH over.

Are you using Waze via apple Carplay or through USB apps option? I can't get it to work as a USB app as it just hangs up after I select it over the standard integrated option. Luckily apple Carplay works just fine with Waze

I use Waze only through Apple CarPlay, didn’t even know USB app was an option. My iPhone is gets plugged in and connect via CarPlay exclusively so I never use any of the apps (like Ford Pass) as you can’t do both at the same time.

I didn’t realize we were supposed to say this out loud.

Nothing wrong with having an app that tells you where the cops are so if you have an emergency you can easily find one

You can toggle off the speedo functionality in the Waze settings - mine too is running 10-12 mph over reality.
I did a little searching and seems this is a common Ford issue. Sounds like Waze is actually getting vehicle speed data from the vehicle versus calculating via GPS.
I toggled off the Waze speedo functionality when in my truck.

BTW - same phone, Waze speedo works great via carplay in my wife's VW.

I was thinking of getting an iPhone for the wife to see if she likes it better but this on top of all the other iPhone/sync issues make it a deal killer.
I'll stick with Android.
