Default It Doesn't Fit !

So, I went to park my Lariat in my garage the night I got it annnnddd, it does not fit....hmmmm..

I literally have to get 2 inches (yes I measured it with the help of my neighbor) in order for the garage door to close. This is not practical to have to park like this every time I get home....also, my stock antenna scrapes the stucko of my garage overhang when I pull into the garage...

A) I want a shorter antenna (so can anyone recommend one)

B) I guess I will have to park, literally sideways, along my three car garage and move my jetski somewhere during the winter...ugh!

Lol. First world problems. You could always extend your garage out. It would be cheaper than getting a new truck.

Yes it is a first world problem. However with having a 157in WB crew cab, I told the dealer I had to see if it fit in the garage before I hand over the cash.

I have maybe a 8 inches to spare.

Uhhh yeah I guess you should have measured that. It doesn't sound like you're overly concerned though.

Take the JetSki out and take your mind off the stress.

Not really concerned..in a gated community, so will be ok during summer outside..and will just park sideways in winter. LoL

Just trim the antenna.

boo f'n hooo. Seriously a 3 car garage and jet ski and you're complaining? My truck fits by one inch but then I have to climb out the sunroof I don't have.

Same deal here. Got my 4x4 Platinum home a few weeks ago and trying to park straight in, it was about 1" too long...a first for me.

Anyway, I have to angle it which makes a 2 car garage a 1 car garage which stinks but it's the best option. Antenna also bangs in the garage at home and at work. Tonight I ordered the stubby bullet style antenna by CravenSpeed. We'll see if it works...reviews are a mixed bag on most of the replacement antennas out there.
