Default do you change to LED reverse lights?

Hi Gents,

Just wondering if you change to use LED reversed lights? I have a 8inch back camera screen. Does it make a difference when backing up? Which one is better and Is it easy to change it? Thanks

Regards

I picked up these from F150LEDS.com and I am very impressed with them. I have a 2018 and it was a super easy swap. Two bolts on each side of taillight if you open the tailgate. Pull straight out on taillight to remove. Remove the old bulb and insert Cree LED from F150LEDS.com. No error (bulb out) lights on dash. Much brighter and seems to light up the sides of truck a lot better. Display looks much crisper as well due to the color temp of the LEDs. BTW.. F150LEDS.com has videos to show you how to do the swap and their customer service is phenomenal. BTW.. Polarity on LEDs matter so if the bulb doesn't work just flip it around and test it again. Hope this helps.

Here are 4x4truckleds.com crystalux lights. It was the highest lumen I could buy which was 900 I think.

I bought the Diode Dynamics XP80s and have had great luck with them. Very impressed with the additional lighting, especially in the camera.

I put these on my '17 and they light up about 100 feet! Backing out in the dark is a breeze and the camera works much better! I bought a couple of cheap metal brackets at the hardware store bent them and bit. They mount very easy, tie into your trailer harness, and you won't be disappointed!

Rigid LED's

I used these. They make a world of difference! Don't mess around with that no-name aftermarket garbage. By the way, if you have a 2018, the 3156 won't fit. You have to buy this one. Here is a link:
