Default Distorted mirror

2020 XLT super crew.
Has anyone else noticed distortion in their stock rear view mirror! My drivers side mirror creates a horizontal wave just below the blind spot mirror for the full width of the mirror.
My dealer replaced it once but the replacement is no better.

Yep, I've got it also, not terrible but definitely noticeable. I plan to upgrade to tow mirrors anyway.

was planning to use mirror extensions for towing. For what these pickups cost this is unacceptable.

Same here. Had dealer replaced entire assembly and it's worse. It's pretty distracting.

I have a 2020 XLT 302a and my 2016 XLT 302a didn't have the issue. Passenger mirror is fine.

Just bought my 2020 and it has it too. If it’s the only issue I have, I can live with it.

My 2020 F150 mirrors seem to be OK, but I agree that it's pretty sad that they can't even reliably source proper mirrors anymore: Had to replace two mirrors on my Kenworth work truck, and the new flat mirror was distorted, while the new convex mirror blew out of position at highway speeds. I mean, I sort of need these mirrors to work properly, since those little pieces of reflective glass are the only thing that allows me to not kill people. Returned that garbage and found another brand that seems OK, but what a waste of time. You'd think commercial truck parts would be held to a higher standard, but the cheap junk is flooding into that market also.

Not on my '20. Build date was 8/20 so maybe Ford sourced a bad batch of mirrors.

Are they heated mirror's?
I wonder of the heating element is causing the distortion.

I have after market tow mirrors. I don't recall if my stock ones were heated or not.
