Don’t think so. Noticed mine within a few days of purchase. At first my wife and I thought it could be our trifocals. But have since confirmed otherwise. Have only used the mirror defrost a couple of times as ours is in the garage overnight.

 

My '20 has it but not bad enough for me to worry about it, mirrors are heated. Built 10/20.

 

Mine was 8/20 as well, Dearborn if it makes a difference.

 

Just got our truck a few weeks ago and my wife mentioned the other day that the driver side mirror looked distorted. It definitely is not as clear as the passenger side mirror.

 

I guess I am lucky.
My mirrors are all perfect.

 

I am in the same position as the op. Had it replaced and its the same. Even the girl who replaced it mentioned that she noticed no difference.
