Disabling stop/ start
I've had my 2018 since December, the only thing I didn't like was the auto stop/start. After looking on the internet, I was going to take out the center dash to get to the disable switch and jumper it out. I wasn't a fan of that, because most of the time something breaks or squeaks afterwards.
I found on YouTube, that there a electrical connection under the dash by the brake pedal that you unplug. Search YouTube for exact plug.
Everything seems to be working except stop/start.
I'm going for a short drive, and make sure the cruise control works properly.
If you have go go to the dealer, it's an easy plug back in.
Sorry if this has already been covered.

I unhooked that plug about 10,000 miles ago and didn't have any issues except for the parallel parking assist. It disables it as well. I have since disabled start/stop via foracan and hooked the plug back up and parallel parking is now working again.

I had nightmares of broken clips and rattles forever too but the center dash really is a 10 minute piece of cake.
Auto start is a bad enough feature that just not seeing that damned button still makes me happy.
