That thing looks horrible. It takes only a few minutes to remove the panel and put the jumper wire in. I've seen absolutely zero benefit, mileage wise, to A.S.S. when it was active to being disabled 100% of the time.

I noticed that if I use Sports mode or Tow mode the auto start stop feature does not activate.
Can others confirm this.

Pretty sure someone did the math here and came up with about 30$ worth of fuel savings a year assuming 20k miles of driving 50/50 city/hwy.

This depends on the year. I believe *** works in sport mode on 17s, based on my memory in my truck.

On mine, the 3.5, Thport mode defeats it. Wonder if it isn't engine specific? I don't know. I've got mine defeated by pulling the plug.

Agree. Looks like a prototype someone made on their 3D printer. Now time to get a batch properly made in China and sell them for the $3.99 they are worth. It will give a cheap option for those who don't want to do the job correctly by installing an auto stop eliminator.

Confirmed this evening, 2017 2.7 in sport shuts down just like in normal drive mode.

unplugged the connector by the brake pedal 6 months ago, no problems. cost free $$$$
