So I played with the dash light dimming up & down for the first time a couple nights ago... now every time I start the truck the "Dimming" notice pops up and stays on about 5-10 seconds. It happens day or night. Anyone else have this glitch??

 

Yep. It's been discussed a few times already. I don't think anyone has figured out how to stop it from showing up once it does.

 

Thanks. Think I'll try disconnecting the battery for 10 mins and see if that clears it.

Mine does this as well. It's pretty annoying actually.

 

Not sure what's more annoying; the dimming message or a thread about it

 

You could've just ignored the thread...

 

if you have screen brightness set to auto, it deactivates the +/- buttons on the light switch panel and comes on to show you the dim setting upon start-up. Explanation from dealer.
