f150 6.5 bed, What is the length between tailgate and Wheelhouse @ floor

If you have access or own said truck and a tape measure that would work. If not the you probably need to specify the year of the truck so someone with a matching truck and a tape measure can check for you. I have a 2018 supercrew 6.5 and a tape measure but have no idea what year truck you have and if it is different between a supercrew and a supercab you posted.

LOL, yep, you're right. I'm an olde sailor, wheelhouse would be the cab.

Didn't that used to be called "inner wheel well'?
